The room had been tied up that morning. She wanted to make sure everything was as she imagined it in the first place. The walls painted in orange and all the furniture arranged in the most random way possible occupied the little one room apartment. The best thing in her you ask? She was bright and random as the worst cartoon character ever.
Finally that moment had arrived, they were there, in that room and the smell of it made her remember of something known, like familiar but not quite.
Her other one was in front of her, a little table divided them, they could feel their legs standing side by side but they didn't dare to move them, just an inch and the tension would have been over.
-"So, do you like it in here?" asked nervously Lilly.
-"It's all very tiny but is nice, I like this perfume! Do you know what it is?"
-"I'm not sure. I love it though." Lilly felt a little more comfortable, she stood up and looking in the freezer handed Alex a drink.
After two beers each and a good hour of small talk the silence had fallen on them.
-"Well…" said Lilly.
-"Well?" Alex repeated.
Lilly took the empty bottles and standing up said "I think it's time I let you relax, you had a long day, I'm gonna go home."
As she moved a foot to the door Alex moved a little towards her.-"It's you" said.-"Is me what?" And as she pronounced those words her head started spinning, she couldn't feel nothing else but her wrists under the light pressure of Alex's hands. It sure feels funny to say she was nothing but wrists but that is how she felt, all of her essence captured by the most common action.
Alex saw Lilly close her eyes and felt she was becoming heavier and heavier, she waited what seemed to be hours to open her eyes and as she did, a shiver crossed her body in a way that the world would have never been the same...
